Gasthof Waldeslust in Hamfelde in Holstein

Unfortunately closed due to Corona. BUT: There is a very good range of ham, sausage and eggs for self-service. Eggs from green layers too Sausage from the Moorschnucke Ham! Everything is great.

Despite only out-of-home service due to the pandemic, very friendly staff. Orders by email go smoothly. Food quality perfect.

We picked up our Christmas goose, which we actually wanted to eat there, and ate it at home. Everything was very tasty.

Excellent food and top service in a nice atmosphere. If you like game meat, you shouldn't miss this restaurant.

We had the venison steak and it was delicious. Perfectly fried and so tender. The service is very prudent and quick. Hardly ordered the drinks - already on the table.

All-round consistent: The very tasty food was served to our guests at the same time and was hot, the numerous wait staff served us in a friendly, competent and attentive manner. I am always thrilled when I was here to eat - even now during Corona times everything is great - you are brought from the door to the table. The selection on the menu is a bit smaller, but honestly, the selection is super good. The service is very attentive and helpful, I'll be happy to come back again. Thanks for the nice day 😊

Despite the current situation (Corona), it was very great as always. The food is of high quality and plentiful. As usual, the service staff is very friendly and courteous. It is always worth going to eat there.

It was very nice there. We felt very comfortable . The staff went out of their way to help us and the food tasted great.

I remember going to the Waldeslust in a DKW1000 about half century and have always gone back. Next time I will be in Germany, I will definitely be making a reservation at this historic restaurant and enjoy the Wildgulasch!!!

Exceptionally good meat. Super friendly service. We celebrated an 80th birthday and were completely satisfied. The premises were also very nice. In between we could go for a walk in the forest. Then there was strawberry cake. Simply delicious.

A totally relaxed atmosphere and very nice staff! I have never been allowed to eat such a good meal for this price Highly recommended. Will definitely come back

It is always a pleasure to sit here either on the covered terrace or in the inn. BEST trained staff, good wines and great food - that's enough for a relaxing evening. One of my favorite places.

Very friendly service. We had cake and ice cream. Immediately after a long walk, the calories replenished. We enjoyed it very much and we like to come to dinner again here.

Came here for lunch and had the pork schnitzel. It was delicious! A generous size for the normal portion, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. My friends had the wild boar which they enjoyed as well. The restaurant has it's own farm with animals which makes this truly a farm to table experience!

The kitchen was closed when we visited so I did not try maybe the best that they could offer. We tried their cakes instead, which were typically unsophisticated and bad unfortunately. It seems like the only place in the area and looks nice but if you sit outside when it shines, you will have to endure massive passive smoking and unpleasant cattle smells.
